2263 Mission St. (btw 18th & 19th)
What better way to start 2012 than with a show from your favorite sketch comedy troupe, Taste Better Wit! The folks from Taste Better Wit will be performing some of their greatest hits…and then some. Come check out some of their sketches from WAY back in the day when they were also known as Pork in the Road and see how they’ve evolved to Taste Better Wit and continue to evolve with some of their new work. They’ve evolved so much that they were asked to perform at the SF Theatre Festival for the past two years.
Considering the number of fist-fights they’ve all gotten into with each other, it’s a miracle that the members of Tastes Better Wit (TBdub) have managed to cooperate in the name of comedy. Comprised of actors, writers, set designers and stand-up comics, Tbdub has spent the past two years mastering the pronunciation of the letter “f” — commonly mispronounced as “p” by their Pilipino people. Their comedy is considered absurd, awkward, socially unsettling, juvenile, strange, and of course hilarious.
See for yourself!
and special surprise guest… (in other words, folks we forgot to mention when this was initially written)
